2012 GALA A SUCCESS!

What a night!  Our 9th Annual “Reach for the Stars” gala and auction held on Saturday, March 17th  was a rousing success. We would like to thank our parents, grandparents, staff, students, alumni, friends and area businesses and for their generous support. Congratulations to the Gala committee of Christine Yetka, Robin Albanese, Penny Ettinger, Nicole Sistrunk-Lewis, Karin McBride, Denise Moon, Lisa Perry, Kym Williams, Nanette Yelder and Kim Bruno for a great evening.

The Gala was highlighted by some remarkable testimonials from Bridge students, parents, and alumni about how important Bridge has been to their success in school and in life.  Through the silent and live auctions and our cash appeal, we were able to raise $42,000 for student educational enrichment and our Build the Bridge Fund.

Highlights of the live auction included vacation homes in Vermont, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Myrtle Beach, SC; tickets to the Broadway show, Wicked; a sailboat cruise on the Atlantic, and a one of kind hand- made quilt. The silent Wingspan raffle basket auction featuring specialty foods was again popular as were the Class Baskets, ranging from everything you need to bring to the beach to lots of good wine.
